Inside My Camera Bag
As a nice reference for those interested in beginner photography and don't want to spend hours sifting through blog posts, here are the things I use, find helpful, and my wish list.
This list will be a revolving door of information and will be updated as soon as I find something cool to share.
Camera Bag
- Canon T1i Camera Body- Don't buy the kit. Invest in better lenses.
- Canon 50mm f/1.4 prime lens- Absolutely worth the money.
- Canon EF-S 55-250mm Telephoto Zoom Lens- I can't live without this lens.
- Canon Speedlite 430 xii Flash- A must have for any serious photo takers
- Canon EF 17-40mm f.4L Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens
- Epiphanie Camera Bag: Ginger- This bag will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
- Picasa- Great for beginners to get your feet wet and it's a FREE download! Can't beat that with a stick!
- Photoshop Elements 10- It's more than enough to get you started and produce great quality pictures. Costs around $100
- Ramblings and Photos- Great photography blog with tutorials and challenges.
- Photo Tips and Sips- Photography Tutorial Blog
- Two Peas In A Bucket: 12 Weeks to Better Photos- Don't take another picture without this tutorial!
