Tip Tuesday: Cleaning A Shower Curtain Liner

If you have hard water like I do then your shower curtain tends to get that nasty hard water stain at the bottom.

Have you tried scrubbing it clean? Worked for hours trying to get all of that off?

Well I have a handy tip for you! Are you ready for this genius idea???? It's exciting!!

THROW IT AWAY!

Shower curtain liners are cheap, like $2 or $3 and it is not worth my time or effort to slave away trying to get that grossness off. I buy a couple of shower curtain liners at a time so I have a stash of them so when I need to replace it, I just toss and replace!

Tip Tuesday: Stinky Trash Can

This tip I got from my new copy of "Farmer's Almanac".

If that last sentence confused you, yes, I am geriatric at heart. I love the Farmer's Almanac. It has LOADS of good info.

Do you know what to do if you have a chronic stinky trash can? All you have to do if crumble up a couple pieces of newspaper and put it in the bottom of your trash can before you put your liner in. And Voila!!! No more stinky trash can! The newspaper will absorb the smell. Hope simple is that??

You might want to change it out everytime you change your liner.

Tip Tuesday: Bobby Pins

I will now begin having "Tip Tuesday" where I will share a helpful tip every week.

It may be simple or extravagant, nevertheless, it's a tip.

This week's tip is about bobby pins.

Do your bobby pins slip on your head and you are always trying to reposition them? You know why?

It's because the proper use of a bobby pin is for the grooved side to go against your head and the flat part is supposed to show!!! Tah dah!

Try that and see how much better your bobby pins stay in!
